Every morning we had breakfast before we walked to school together. There we were met by some English students who showed us around their school. We got the opportunity to participate in their lessons and so we got quite a good impression of life at a real English school.
We found out that students in England have a very different timetable compared to our system: lots of different subjects are offered but the students are free to choose some of them such as drama, communication, law, arts, geography and many more.
In the afternoons we had guided tours of the medieval castle and the cathedral; otherwise we were free to do whatever we wanted - most of us went shopping in the city centre, had some coffee or went to a pub for a typical English meal.

The week went by much too fast and on Saturday we already had to go home. I think it was a very interesting week and everyone of us learnt a lot because we had the opportunity to speak English during the whole week.
